This plat of resurvey of secs. 30 and 32, T- 5 S-, R. 8 E., de-
lineates a retracement and reestablishment of the lines of the orig-
inal survey'as shown on plats approved July 15, 1856, September 17,
1909 and June 26, lgl5 in their true original position, according to
the best available evidence of the position of the original corners;
all differences between the measurements shown`on the original plats
and those derived in the retracement have been distributed propor-
tionally between accepted corners in accordance with surveying rules;
reference will be made to the original plats for the showing of
areas and more detailed descriptions of the various smaller subdivis-
ions except where the areas of tracts have been excluded, in which
ease the resultant areas, with new lot numbers, are shown hereon.
These resurveys and subdivisional surveys are made for allot-
ment purposes within the Cabazon Mission Indian Reservation.
Tract surveys are made for the purpose of segregating certain
lands upon which wells and an Indian burial ground are located, said
lands being reserved by the government for the benefit of the Indians.
