SUMMARILY VACATING THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT STORM DRAIN EASEMENTS
IN THE WINCHESTER AREA.

WHEREAS, the hereinafter -described storm drain easements were dedicated for
public use by Tract Map Number 31100 recorded in Book 461, Pages 7 through 19,
inclusive of Maps, records of the Recorder of Riverside County, California, and;
WHEREAS, the offer of dedication of said storm drain easements has not been
accepted for public use by the County of Riverside, and;
WHEREAS, the hereinafter -described storm drain easements are excess drainage
easements and are not required for public purposes, and;
WHEREAS, applicable procedures pertaining to summary vacations were followed
pursuant to the County's adopted "Resolutions for Fixing Procedures to Vacate and
Accept County Highways and Property Offered for Dedication," now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
OCT 0 7 , 2025, as follows:

RESOLUTION NO. 2025-222
1. The vacation of the right to accept the hereinafter -described storm drain
easements is exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) and not a
project pursuant to Section 15060(c) of the State CEQA Guidelines.
2. Pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, Section 8333(c) of the Streets and
Highways Code, the hereinafter -described storm drain easements are
excess, are not required for public drainage purposes, and are hereby
summarily vacated.
SEE LEGAL DESCRIPTION AND PLAT ATTACHED HERETO
AS EXHIBITS "A" AND "B" AND MADE A PART HEREOF;
3. That the hereinafter -described storm drain easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use, including use as a non -motorized
17 transportation facility.

19 4. From and after the date this resolution is recorded the hereinafter -described
20 drainage easements will no longer constitute public storm drain easements.

22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Clerk of
23 the Board is directed to file with the Office of the County Clerk the Notice of Exemption
24 within five (5) working days of the Board hearing date.
