Make 12" loop at 50 foot intervals along wire run from valve to controller. Provide conduit where wires run under paving. Take core not to damage wires when backfilling trenches. 9. Install of least two extra wire from single station controllers to heaviest planted / most sunshine exposed area of the valve for moisture sensor hook- up. 14. Valve Boxes: All remote control valves sholl be installed in plastic valve box. Box shall be set flush with finish grade in plonting beds. Lid shall be permanently marked to correspond to controller and station number. 15. Backfilling: Bockfill shall not be placed until the installed irrigation system has been inspected, approved, and tested in the presence of Owner's Authorized Representative. a. BackfiN material shelf be on approved sandy soil or sand. Unsuitable material including clods and rocks over 2 1/4 inches in size, sholl be removed from the premises and disposed of legally at no cost to the Owner. (installed sand to be 2" below pipe and 4" above pipe if solid conditions are rocky). b. All backfilling for mainline shall be done in 12" lifts and tomped to 90% compaction and back -filling under asphalt or concrete shell be done in 12" lifts and mechanically tamped to 95X. Compaction in planting areas shall only be equal to adjacent soil so trench will not settle. c. where excavation or 'hacking' is required under concrete pavement, sidewalks, roods, etc., care shell be taken in bock -filling with land, tomping, and inundating with water. 11:11.1 k, i 12' 7 ,"19 APPROVED BY: --iT o MENDED DATE SEAL: PREPARED BY: d.
